Research Use Policy

Last updated August 3, 2026

The short version

Everything we sell is for laboratory research. None of it is a drug, a supplement, or a medical device. None of it is approved or intended to be put in or on a human being or an animal. If that is not what you are buying it for, do not buy it from us.

1. What we supply

Coastline Research Supply LLC supplies research peptides, laboratory consumables and glassware to independent researchers, laboratory professionals, and research organizations located in the United States.

2. Research use only

All research materials sold by Coastline Research Supply are intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified persons.

They are not:

They have not been evaluated or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for any use. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. They are not approved or intended for human consumption, human administration, injection into a human being, veterinary use, clinical use, or diagnostic use of any kind.

3. What you are agreeing to when you order

By placing an order you represent and warrant each of the following, and your order is accepted on that basis:

  1. You are at least 21 years of age.
  2. You are acquiring the materials for legitimate laboratory research purposes only.
  3. You will not administer, or permit any other person to administer, the materials to any human being or animal.
  4. You will not resell, relabel, repackage, or redistribute the materials for any use in humans or animals.
  5. You are qualified, by training or experience, to handle laboratory research materials safely.
  6. You will handle, store, transport, and dispose of the materials in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and with sound laboratory practice.
  7. You accept sole responsibility for the design, conduct, safety, and consequences of any research you perform.

4. What we will not do

We are a materials supplier. We do not, and will not:

Our support team is instructed to decline these questions. That is not us being unhelpful. It is the line that keeps this a research supply business, and we hold it without exception.

5. Documentation

Identity and purity analysis documentation is maintained on file per lot. Account holders may request the documentation associated with the lot they received by contacting support with their order number. Documentation describes the composition of the material as tested. It is not a certification of safety, efficacy, or fitness for any use in humans or animals, and it must not be represented as one.

6. Refusal and cancellation

We may refuse, cancel, limit, or reverse any order at our sole discretion, including where an order or an account appears inconsistent with laboratory research use, where a purchaser communicates an intent to use materials in humans or animals, or where an order originates from a jurisdiction in which we do not ship. Where we cancel an unshipped order, we refund it in full.

7. Jurisdiction

We ship within the United States only. Some materials may be restricted or prohibited in particular states or localities. You are responsible for confirming that your receipt and possession of a given material is lawful where you are. We do not ship internationally and will not assist with freight forwarding arrangements intended to route materials outside the United States.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in effect at the time you place an order governs that order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
